About the Artist
Carol Addassi is an American artist and photographer whose work explores the interplay of perception, memory, and imagination. Building on a decade-long career as a photo editor at The New York Times and the Daily News, she now creates painterly photomontages and imagery that intricately re-weave everyday reality into dream-like visual worlds. Her work is rooted in analogue techniques—from 35mm to 4×5 film—and evolves into digital compositions that invite viewers to re-see, pause, and feel.
