Joelle Hoverson

Joelle Hoverson is a multidisciplinary American artist whose practice is rooted in painting, color theory, and material exploration. She earned her MFA in Painting and Printmaking from the Yale School of Art, following formative studies at the San Francisco Art Institute, and later served as a senior style editor at Martha Stewart Living. Her work reflects a distinctly painterly sensibility—marked by subtle shifts of color, tactile nuance, and an enduring commitment to the aesthetics of hand-made form.
